Community out-reach gaming group, focused on providing an engaging and welcoming community which allows Veterans to stay within the comfort of their homes and Active members to enjoy the group while on post or abroad. Where I agree with the ideology of isolated veterans and alienated service members benefit most from attending events in person, lets be honest, many won't attend said events as anxiety or PTSD may prevent them from wanting to be out, or those who may be in a tight place and don't have time to go and chat with people somewhere. We at Zero-Company seek to bridge that gap, as even a virtual space is better socializing than NO socializing, where we actually have fun and its all from the comfort of your home!

 

From the abysmal standards of the VA, and with most veteran "benefits" in society and the economy being laughable at best, we believe that serving in the US military introduces more risks and issues than the rewards for doing so, and yet they wonder why there's a recruiting crisis. Point is, many veterans are thanked with a pat on the back and sent off to resume their lives, "thrown to the wolves" in many cases. Zero-Company seeks to give back to those who served their country, who have either slipped into a social isolation, an unfortunate spot in life, seeking therapy for their time in service but don't want to sit in a circle with a bunch of nerds (It's not often successful, though they have good intentions, props either way) or are spiraling from a lack of the comradery from the "Good ole days". As well as active service members who may not have friends at their current post, impregnated the chaplain's daughter or married a stripper and hates life, or is beginning to submit to their demons at night, and could use someone to shoot the shit with. IF any of those seem familiar, this group is for you.
